The VS Program Process Coordinator acts as a program analyst and liaison between Veteran Services and LHI\xe2\x80\x99s operational and support departments.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitors and responds to documentation and process updates from the VA to ensure health records provided to the VA post appointment meet their needs and contract requirements. This includes analyzing changes, discrepancies, and errors in process, initiating change management as needed, and assuring data quality
  • Work to issue resolution, process, and order completion, write SQL queries, perform research, compile reports and test electronic solutions
  • Identify, research, and troubleshoot simple issues/changes and will determine if a change request, communication, etc. is the appropriate next step for resolution
  • For complex matters, the coordinator will escalate and interpret the situation, develop actionable insights, and present recommendations for VS leadership and subject matter experts to determine next steps
  • Communicate changes in-flight or as resolved to internal customers and stakeholders; what we are trying to do, why it\xe2\x80\x99s important, identify where clinical guidance was utilized and translate needs and results with IT

Required Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree in Business, Administrative or other related fields or equivalent combination of education, 1+ years of continuous improvement experience and applicable military experience will be considered
  • 2+ years of experience utilizing continuous improvement methodologies to observe, analyze, communicate, and participate in the implementation of process improvements
  • Med Net experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of database structures and relationships
  • Understanding and Exposure to VA process and scope of work
  • Understanding of the medical industry and/or healthcare management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication to ensure understanding on all levels of the business and to build and maintain relationships necessary for successful process changes
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team; ability to demonstrate an appropriate level of assertiveness in performing work responsibilities; solid problem solving, organizational, and time management
  • Ability to perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy
Soft Skills:
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with regards to operational processes and supporting resources
  • Ability to apply continuous improvement methods and cognitive thinking to comprehend, calculate results, analyze data and reason with stakeholders to problem solve and make educated business decisions
  • Able to research and document issues before reporting them to IT
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with high knowledge base specifically in Excel
