Why does the job exist?
The Program Manager / State Opioid Response Grant Manager will:
Serve as the State Opioid Response (SOR) Grants Compliance Coordinator, ensuring compliance with the Federal Grant and administrated through the Behavioral Health Services Division (BHSD), Health Care Authority (HCA);
Ensure compliance with federal requirements, monitor grant expenditures and oversee Professional Services Contracts, Provider Agreements and General Service Agreements;
Possibly be assigned additional duties and responsibilities, as needed, to support broader division or agency operations in alignment with evolving workload demands and organizational priorities.
How does it get done?
The Program Manager / State Opioid Response Grant Manager is responsible for:
Overseeing daily grant activities to ensure grant objectives are fulfilled and grant funds are properly expended;
Preparing all required progress reports and data for the grantor;
Reporting to the Project Director;
Managing all grant funds, approving provider invoices and ensuring the appropriate expenditure of grant funds.

Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of professional level experience with a tactical impact directly related to the purpose of the position defined by the agency at the time of recruitment. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six (6) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to VisualNideo Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage.
