Job Duties/Scope Of Work



*Serve as the company's technical advisor for all IT governance-related matters.

Lead the creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Hanford Site's IT Governance Model. Develop and maintain governance policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with DOE directives and federal requirements. Collaborate closely with Hanford Chief Information Officers, HMIS Information Management leadership, and Hanford workforce stakeholders to ensure governance practices meet operational and strategic needs. Design and deploy modernized governance reporting tools and dashboards that provide actionable insights and demonstrate ROI. Facilitate governance board meetings, decision-making processes, and performance reviews. Analyze governance metrics and trends to proactively inform strategy and resource allocation. Ensure IT governance practices support cybersecurity, data integrity, and enterprise architecture goals. Communicate governance priorities and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders. Support contract and statement of work development related to IT governance initiatives. Monitor and document subcontractor performance, milestones, deliverables, and support invoice reviews as needed.


Basic Qualifications



*Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years' experience- OR - an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proven experience creating and executing IT governance models in a complex organizational environment. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and standards. Experience modernizing governance tools and reporting systems to improve transparency and ROI. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience interfacing with executive leadership and technical teams. Ability to interpret and apply DOE Orders, federal regulations, and site-specific procedures. Must be a team player with a collaborative mindset. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Credential badge.


Desired Qualifications



*5+ years of experience in IT governance or enterprise IT program management; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Advanced Degree in Information Systems, Public Administration, or related discipline. 5-10 years of experience managing IT governance in a federal or DOE environment. Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and IT portfolio management. Familiarity with NIST, FISMA, and DOE cybersecurity directives. Buyer's technical representative experience. Experience with Hanford Site IT systems and stakeholder engagement.

Grade 18: $106,663 - $134,588

Grade 19: $117,225 - $147,775

Grade 20: $129,063 - $162,688

This investigation encompasses multiple areas of eligibility and includes a declaration of illegal drug activities, including use, supply, possession, or manufacture within the last year. This includes marijuana and cannabis derivatives, which are still considered illegal under federal law, regardless of state laws.
