Job Description

Essential Functions



Planning and coordinating: Developing and implementing programs, activities, and events. This includes creating schedules, timelines, and budgets. Managing volunteers: Assigning work, managing workloads, and resolving conflicts. Monitoring: Ensuring programs are on schedule, within budget, and meeting standards. Communicating: Coordinating with staff, stakeholders, and participants. This includes managing marketing and communications and facilitating positive relations. Maintaining records: Creating and maintaining program records, reports, presentations, and proposals. Fundraising: Assisting the Executive Director in contacting potential donors and in writing grant applications.
Other responsibilities include:

Composing, typing, and editing correspondence, reports, memoranda and other material Assisting as necessary with administrative tasks, i.e., scheduling appointments, coordinating forms and files, scheduling meetings, copying, filing, scanning, preparing mailings, etc. Providing clerical support to the Administration & Operations Director, and volunteer staff Working independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects

Computer Literacy:

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - especially Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of QuickBooks and Mail Chimp is a plus.

Physical Demands:

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary.
