As a Project Management Coordinator, you will be using your skills and expertise to prepare and coordinate the plans and schedules for our new or existing programs. You\'ll be responsible for determining, monitoring, and reviewing our costs, operational budgets and schedules, manpower requirements, and supporting and participating in negotiations with our customers. You\'ll implement program modifications that result in improved productivity or reduced costs.

The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains \xe2\x80\x93 air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Responsibilities:

As TRAX Program Management Coordinator III, you will use your time management and communication skills as you will collaborate with vendors, suppliers, International Trade Compliance Office (ITCO), other key stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines.

Your main responsibilities will be to coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information, break projects into actionable tasks and set time frames, liaise with stakeholders to facilitate project execution and assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.

You\'ll also ensure that clients\xe2\x80\x99 needs are met as projects evolve, help prepare budgets, analyze risks and opportunities, monitor project progress and address issues that arise via proper communication and escalation. Additionally, you will act as a point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders, work with the Program Manager to remove road blocks, use tools to monitor and control performance, plans and expenditures and create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and status reports.

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in a related field of study and typically 6 years of relevant experience
  • A higher level degree may substitute for experience
  • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Fundamental MS Office Skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Demonstrated ownership of tasks, organization skills and attention to detail
  • Possess strong communication and client-facing, teamwork skills
  • Exposure to International Trade in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
  • Experience preparing and coordinating plans and schedules for new and existing programs
  • Experience determining, monitoring, and reviewing costs, operational budgets and schedules and manpower requirements
  • Exposure to RFI\'s, Proposals proposal experience
  • Experience handling change requests or continuous process improvement
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Preferred:
  • DoD experience with RFP\'s (Request For Proposals)
  • Experience implementing program modifications that result in improved productivity or reduced costs
  • Extensive experience utilizing Microsoft Project to track Project Cost, resources, & Schedule.
  • Experience supporting International Programs & Liaising with ITCO to maintain ITAR compliance across multiple projects.
