Role Overview:
As a workshop leader you will be responsible for facilitating interactive workshops based on the provided curriculum. You will guide students through the process of digital design using My1of1's platform, support their creative exploration, and introduce them to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and e-commerce. This role may also include traveling to various workshop locations to deliver the program to different groups of students.
Responsibilities:
Deliver Engaging Instruction:
Facilitate dynamic and interactive workshop sessions on topics including digital media concepts, creative thinking techniques, basic entrepreneurship principles, and career pathways.
Hands-on Project Guidance:
Provide clear guidance and support as students create and customize apparel using My1of1's digital platforms.
E-commerce Store Development:
Mentor students in setting up and managing their individual e-commerce stores to sell their created products.
Curriculum Implementation:
Effectively deliver the established workshop curriculum, adapting your teaching style to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Student Mentorship:
Serve as a positive role model and mentor, fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
Classroom Management:
Maintain a positive and productive learning environment, ensuring student engagement and safety.
Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other instructors and program staff to ensure the smooth delivery of the program.
Travel and Logistics:
Be prepared to travel to different workshop locations as needed (frequency and duration of travel will vary). This includes transporting necessary materials and adhering to travel schedules.
Communication:
Maintain clear and timely communication with program staff regarding student progress, challenges, and logistical needs.
Administrative Tasks:
Complete necessary administrative tasks, such as attendance records and feedback forms.
Qualifications:
Experience in public speaking
Strong knowledge of digital media concepts and platforms.
Familiarity with e-commerce basics and online store setup.
Demonstrated ability to foster creativity and innovation.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable with a passion for working with young people.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different workshop locations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience teaching workshops or leading group activities.
Knowledge of various digital design software or tools.
Background in entrepreneurship or small business development.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
