We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Director to lead and oversee our community-based programs focused on supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, program development expertise, and a compassionate approach to working with diverse populations. This leadership role involves strategic planning, team supervision, and fostering relationships with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of services aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and evaluate programs that meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities.
Manage day-to-day operations of the agency, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. C.O.M.A.R; HIPPA
Supervise staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, community partners, and funding agencies.
Coordinate program activities, including planning events, workshops, and community outreach initiatives.
Ensure quality assurance through data collection, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts.
Advocate for individuals served by promoting awareness and understanding within the community.
Experience
Proven management experience in social services or behavioral health settings.
Demonstrated success in program development and implementation tailored to populations with developmental disabilities.
Supervising experience with staff or teams in a social work or related environment.
Strong background in relationship management with diverse stakeholders including clients, families, funders, and community organizations.
Administrative experience involving budgeting, compliance documentation, and report writing.
Knowledge of behavioral health practices and social work principles is highly preferred.
