We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Director to lead and oversee our community programs focused on supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, program development expertise, and a compassionate approach to working with diverse populations. This leadership role requires strategic planning, team supervision, and effective relationship management to ensure the successful delivery of services aligned with organizational goals and community needs.
Duties
Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive programs tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and community expectations.
Lead and supervise staff, including social workers and behavioral health specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Manage program budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial sustainability of services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, community partners, and funding agencies to promote program growth and collaboration.
Oversee administrative functions such as documentation, reporting, compliance with licensing requirements, and record-keeping.
Coordinate program activities, workshops, and community outreach initiatives to enhance service accessibility and effectiveness.
Ensure that all programs adhere to best practices in behavioral health and social work while fostering an inclusive environment for individuals served.
Skills
Proven management experience with a strong background in program development and implementation.
Extensive experience working with people with developmental disabilities and knowledge of behavioral health practices.
Exceptional relationship management skills to engage clients, families, staff, and community stakeholders effectively.
Strong administrative capabilities including budgeting, documentation, compliance monitoring, and report writing.
Supervisory experience leading multidisciplinary teams in social work or related fields.
Ability to develop innovative programs that address community needs while adhering to organizational policies.
Excellent communication skills for training staff, presenting at meetings, and collaborating across departments.
Knowledge of program management principles combined with a compassionate approach to social work.
