The Program Director of the Norwich Office will lead and manage all operations of our satellite location while serving as the primary representative of the organization in the Norwich region. This role emphasizes program development and delivery, ensuring services meet community needs and align with organizational goals. The Program Director will foster strong community partnerships, attend all partner events, oversee office operations, and contribute to fundraising and grant efforts to sustain and grow programs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in the design, implementation, and evaluation programs that address community needs and advance the organization's mission.
Collaborate with leadership and program teams to develop innovative initiatives and expand service offerings in the Norwich region.
Monitor program performance, outcomes, and impact; prepare reports and recommend improvements.
Ensure compliance with funding requirements, quality standards, and best practices in program delivery.
Identify opportunities for new programs and partnerships to enhance community engagement and organizational reach.
Work with the development team to identify funding opportunities that support Norwich programs.
Assist in writing grant proposals and reports to secure and maintain funding for local initiatives.
Cultivate relationships with donors and community stakeholders to support fundraising efforts.
Serve as the liaison for community partners, attending events and representing the organization professionally.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders, donors, and partner organizations.
Advocate for programs and services within the community to increase visibility and participation.
Oversee daily operations of the Norwich office, including staff supervision, resource allocation, and compliance with organizational policies.
Recruit, train, and develop office staff to ensure effective program delivery and operational excellence.
Contribute to financial planning for program sustainability through budget oversight
Participate in organizational planning and policy development as part of the leadership team.
Provide insights on regional trends and community needs to inform strategic decisions.
Promote organizational values of equity, inclusion, and collaboration in all programs and partnerships.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Human Services, Business, Nonprofit Management, or related field preferred.
Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience, including executive-level responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of nonprofit operations, community engagement, and strategic planning.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage budgets and lead teams effectively.
