Description:
The Program Coordinator manages all aspects of Nebraska Diaper Bank programs, including partner relationships, diaper distribution, inventory management, partner surveys, and program evaluation. This role ensures partner orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. The Program Coordinator plays a key role in supporting families in need while helping programs run smoothly and continuously improve to expand the organization's reach and impact.
Essential Duties:
Serve as the primary point of contact for current partner agencies regarding orders, pick-ups, deliveries, and client data.
Collaborate with volunteers, and work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator, to pack partner orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all orders meet quality standards.
Perform quality checks of all partner orders prior to distribution to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Complete onboarding for new partners, including site visits, training, coordination of order and delivery schedules, and managing inquiries from potential partners and the partner waitlist.
Maintain the Partner Agency spreadsheet and ensure all partners complete annual collaboration activities, an annual agreement, and submit a partner fee.
Evaluate potential new partner agencies, including exploring new geographic or service areas, reviewing applications, and considering requests for partner tier changes, making recommendations based on community need and alignment with organizational goals.
Complete annual site visits and train new partner staff, building relationships and understanding partner needs.
Organize learning materials for regular partner communication and newsletters.
Coordinate the annual partner meeting, including planning logistics, preparing learning materials, and facilitating review of programs, updates, and training.
Coordinate annual partner and client surveys, ensuring partner follow-through and consistent year-over-year reporting for program improvement and grant applications.
Manage partner-provided client data, including monthly and year-end reports, ensuring accuracy, organization, and proper use for program evaluation and grant reporting.
Manage diaper inventory, including tracking stock levels, recording donations, updating spreadsheets and databases, and reviewing partner orders for packing.
Manage the hospital program, coordinating orders, deliveries, and client data, while maintaining relationships with hospital partners and overseeing their unique sponsorship arrangements.
Report necessary information for grant applications and compliance with grant guidelines.
Lead volunteer diaper wrap sessions as needed, with potential to regularly oversee sessions to support program growth and Volunteer Coordinator capacity.
Evaluate current programs for improvement opportunities and develop additional programs.
Collaborate with the Operations team to complete tasks and advance the organization's mission.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required. An Associate's degree with 3+ years of applicable experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
1-3 years of full-time paid experience in program coordination or a related field.
Strong interest in helping ease childhood poverty issues in Nebraska by engaging with our mission.
Proficient with Google Suite.
Requires a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation for occasional program-related travel.

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs short distances.
Comfortable with physically active, hands-on tasks each week.
Travel Requirements:
This position will serve as the point of contact for all partners and will travel to each partner location at least once annually; which may require overnight stays. Will be able to utilize remote communication strategies including email, phone and video conferencing outside of the annual site visit. Travel requirements are subject to change depending on the number of partner locations in the Greater Nebraska region.
Schedule and Flexibility:
Nebraska Diaper Bank offers a flexible work schedule with the possibility of a hybrid work option. The majority of weekly hours will be spent on-site at Nebraska Diaper Bank. This position may occasionally require early evening or Saturday hours. This full-time role is based on a 35-hour work week, with additional hours as needed to support program operations. Employees receive paid time off during the organization's year-end closure from December 24 through January 1 -- a valuable benefit for rest and time with family.
