Overview
This position is based in Boston, MA and offers a hybrid work schedule, with an expectation for employees to be on-campus a few days each month on a rotating basis.

  • Provides specialized, subject matter knowledge to develop, implement, review and evaluate a university Program or Project in collaboration with Manager or Director.
  • Participates in developing curriculum goals and strategies; creates data management and filing systems; develops, analyzes and monitors curriculum budgets and curriculum software contracts and troubleshooting; participates in development and implements marketing and advertising efforts including writing content for website.
  • Conducts research and drafts reports and results.
  • May oversee recruitment and management of study subjects. Coordinates hiring and training of staff and temporary help.
  • Handles complex and confidential situations and requests and serves in a highly visible capacity as a resource for department with students, staff, faculty and other constituents.
The Program Coordinator for the DPT Program-Boston is a full-time employee. Full- time employment is based on 35 hours per week. Evening and weekend hours will be required during on-site clinical skills labs that occur up to 2 times each semester and for occasional program-related events.
What You'll Do
Curriculum and Assessment: Essential Functions
  • Develops goals and strategies for program in collaboration with DPT Curriculum Director and/or Program Director
  • Implements plans and evaluates progress on curriculum
  • Recommends changes as necessary for curriculum
  • Develops data management and filing systems within curriculum software (ExamSoft, Canvas, EXXAT)
  • Assists the Director of Curriculum in preparation of CAPTE reporting
  • Creates and coordinates course and exam schedules for all cohorts
  • Oversees and analyzes budgets within curriculum and prepares reports and projections
  • Participates in budget development with PM/PD associated with the implementation of the curriculum software and programming
  • Supports and coordinates lab logistics and on-site operations
  • Assists with DPT program long term planning and expenditures associated with lab logistics and adjunct faculty payments
  • Fosters strategic partnerships with publishing houses to secure discounted access for students
Cultivates partnerships with hotel chains to secure room blocks and exclusive rates for faculty, staff and students to support lab logistics and budgetary boundaries * Assists the Director of Curriculum in relationship and quality assessments associated with the adjunct faculty who meet the DPT program's specific needs
  • Primary contact for the development, training and active involvement of adjunct faculty
  • Solicits and evaluates feedback from students and faculty related to the performance of adjunct faculty
  • Collaborates with faculty to recruit and onboard adjunct faculty who comply with CAPTE requirements
  • Prepares semester course reports and analysis and makes projections for CAPTE reporting
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating Accreditation(CAPTE) documentation for reporting purposes
  • Responsible for the scheduling, accesses and correct release of Canvas courses and Examsoft
  • Active monitoring and review of exams and lab practicals
  • Collaborates with the Registrar's Office to coordinate student graduation and licensure requirements
  • Accountable for the distribution, data management, and secure storage of post-graduation surveys
  • Writes and updates material for website
  • Designs and creates content for the newsletter and graduation ceremony
  • Captures lab content to support and enhance social media initiatives
  • May supervise students or temporary employees.
What We're Looking For
Basic Requirements:
  • Knowledge and skills as typically acquired through Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office suite, especially Excel
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills
  • Experience with basic office equipment, including printer, scanner, copier, and fax.
  • Possess discretion when dealing with highly confidential information.
  • Demonstrates confidence, discretion, and proficiency in interpersonal and team skills in order to effectively interact with people at all levels.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and excellent decision-making skills in responding to high-pressure situations.
  • Demonstrates ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and manage competing priorities in a fast paced, deadline-driven administrative office.
  • Possess strong oral, communication, and organizational skills and commitment to best practices.
  • Independently develop database, spreadsheet, or word processing documents requiring understanding and proficiency with contemporary software applications and programs.
  • Perform complex data-entry tasks for which there are a variety of formats and procedures.
  • Possess knowledge of correct business practices, correspondence, and typing formats.
  • Ability to read and comprehend regulations, procedures, and policies and apply them to specific situations.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic, such as fractions, decimals, and percentages.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and usage of correct grammar, composition, spelling, and punctuation and produce documents that do not require significant review and editing.
  • Possess basic knowledge of accounting systems.
  • Possess the initiative to act with self-direction and independently to correct and improve operations in the DPT Program.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Pay Range
Minimum $27.30, Midpoint $32.50, Maximum $37.70
Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
