Job Summary
The Program Coordinator will be primarily responsible for providing day-to-day program support/program coordination to the Program Director. He/she will assist in facilitating therapeutic groups, transporting members, creating monthly activity calendar, completing accurate and timely documentation, and other tasks as apply to the Program Facilitator role.
Education:
Bachelors Degree required
Must have 2-5 years of related experience.
Must have reliable transportation.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Ensures that individuals are engaged and supervised at all times.*
2. Provides supports and services to individuals with functional or behavioral deficits related to intellectual disabilities, mental illness, substance use disorders and/or behavioral problems in conjunction with their person centered plan.*
3. Upholds the rights of the individual at all times.*
4. Asks and seeks help from Program Director when needed.*
5. Understands individuals' behavioral needs and communicates to supervisor any identified needs that you are unable to meet.*
6. Schedules and encourages individuals to participate in community activities.*
7. Assists, when requested, with the development of and follows individual's PCP.*
8. Adheres to the principles of Infinite Beginnings, LLC.*
9. Assists individuals in exercising their rights.*
10. Communicates professionally and positively with individuals, parents, caregivers, visitors, and other professionals.*
11. Maintains individuals' confidentiality at all times.*
12. Provides services and supports necessary to assist the person in achieving and maintaining rehabilitative, sobriety, and recovery goals.*
13. Participates in crisis plan management.*
14. Participates in and provides input into individuals' person centered plan.*
15. Supports individuals through their daily activities and ensures that such activities are performed in an effort to meet individual goals.*
16. Provides appropriate development materials for individuals and assists with the assessment of their progress.*
17. Assists in providing a safe, positive, stimulating learning and social environment.*
18. Assists in scheduling and coordinating activities and services for individuals.*
19. Communicates need for work or necessary supplies, problems, questions, and issues regarding individual needs/ concerns to the Program Director.*
20. Completes routine paperwork daily and submit to supervisor by due date.*
21. Completes incident/accident reports as needed.*
22. Abides by, enforces, and participates in the implementation and ongoing oversight of all Infinite Beginnings, LLC, safety standards and regulations.*
23. Operates under the supervision of a qualified professional.*
24. Provides various skill building activities of daily and community living skills such as socialization skills, adaptation skills, symptom management skills, wellness education, education substance abuse, and behavior and anger management techniques.*
25. Performs other related duties as assigned
