The Program Coordinator supports the Director of the Loretto Justice Fellowship in creating a meaningful, well-supported experience for Fellows, placement partners, academic partners, and the Loretto Community in the El Paso area. This role focuses on Fellow accompaniment, community building, recruitment, and partner relationships while upholding Loretto's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
Support and accompany Fellows through regular check-ins, community meals, retreats, and events
Coordinate monthly gatherings and additional opportunities for community connection
Assist with program requirements, communications, and promotional materials
Recruit and engage applicants through information sessions and partner-campus events (UTEP, NMSU, EPCC)
Support application review, interviews, selection, and placement
Build and maintain relationships with placement sites, academic partners, and local Loretto Community members
Visit placement sites and participate in community meetings as needed
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Experience in social justice, community engagement, social services, or mentorship
Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Comfortable with flexible scheduling, including evenings/weekends
Proficiency with Google Drive, Zoom, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to travel locally and complete a background check
Work Environment
Remote with regular local travel in the El Paso area; occasional evening/weekend work and limited overnight travel required.
