Job Description

SUMMARY



Coordinates the activities and functions of designated programs. Analyzes, evaluates and ensures that the goals and objectives for the program are accomplished according to established priorities, time and funding limitations or other specifications.



The Program Coordinator for the Dropout Prevention Program is responsible for coordinating program initiatives and providing oversight and support to Dropout Prevention Specialists. This role serves as a vital liaison between schools and families, ensuring consistent communication and aligned support services. The Program Coordinator must be familiar with ADE attendance codes and guidelines, conduct home visits as needed, and deliver monthly professional development to staff. Strong knowledge of Synergy and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively are essential.



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS




Associate's Degree AND

Four years of experience administering or coordinating programs.


OR


Bachelor's Degree AND

Two years of experience administering or coordinating programs.

OR

Six years of progressive experience administering or coordinating programs.



One year of supervisory experience.


Knowledge and ability to use word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs.


Knowledge of federal and state legislative requirements related to specific program.

Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.





Some positions within this classification may require some type of certification.



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



Master's Degree.



ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE



FBI fingerprint background check

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

Location:Catalina High School - Pima & Dodge Area


Classification: Non-Bargaining


FTE : 1.0 - 8 hours per day


Work Calend 12 month

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.



Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.
