The Office of Medical Student Affairs is seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented support person to join their fast-paced office. The position will provide support to the Senior Academic Dean and Associate/Assistant Deans managing several Medical Student Affairs activities; working with confidential information; coordinating meetings and schedules; assisting students and staff with department travel and monitoring financials. .
Position requires a highly organized individual who is responsive to strict deadlines; exceptional customer service; and ability to utilize data management and Microsoft Office computer software. Experience in a higher education setting is preferred.
The position can be located in either Vermillion or Sioux Falls.
The USD Sanford School of Medicine has announced the move of the first 18 months of the M.D. program and the Division of Biomedical & Translational Sciences from Vermillion to Sioux Falls by July of 2027. Travel between sites may be required.
