Program Assistant \xe2\x80\x93 Mobile Crisis Services

TEMPORARY POSITION

Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based behavioral health services in New Hampshire, is seeking a full-time Program Assistant to work in our Mobile Crisis Program, located in Concord, NH.

This program provides individual services to adults & children who need emergency crisis intervention. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM (subject to change). Flexibility is a must. Dates would be approximately 5/01/2023 - 8/30/2023.

As a Program Assistant, you will be a member of an administrative team of support staff who work with clinical staff and clients in a variety of capacities. We are looking for a team player with a warm and welcoming presence that has excellent computer skills, strong customer service, and the ability to multitask.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to clients
• Check in clients for appointments, and schedule follow-up appointments
• Verify insurance coverage and conduct account research
• Provide administrative and clerical support to clinical staff
• Maintain electronic health records for clients of the program
• Collect payments and address any past due balances, as applicable
• Data entry and reconciliation research
• Process daily payments and manage daily deposits
• Maintain schedule for a variety of reports
• Work collaboratively with other Riverbend programs, area law enforcement and mental health facilities to ensure quality patient care and treatment.

Requirements:

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in diversified office work is preferred.
• Experience with health insurance billing procedures preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with attention to detail is required.
• Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and personal vehicle or access to a reasonable alternative is preferred.
