The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at South Dakota Mines is seeking to fill a 9-month, non-tenure track faculty position related to Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Assistant or Associate Professor of Practice level. An earned Doctorate degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Atmospheric or Environmental Science, or a closely related discipline is required by the time of appointment. The ideal candidate will have evidence in teaching at the university level and practical experience in their area of expertise. We seek candidates who will contribute to teaching our Sustainable Design and Sustainable Engineering course sequence, along with our Geomatics 1 and 2 course sequence within our department. The desired start date for the position is August 2023.
