Summary

As a Professional Restaurant Dishwasher/Cleaner, you will be essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, directly supporting the culinary team. Reporting to the Head Chef, your core responsibilities will include cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Your relevant skills in food preparation, cleaning, and restaurant experience will enhance the overall dining experience for guests. By utilizing your attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness, you will contribute significantly to the smooth operation of our restaurant and the satisfaction of our patrons.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure a hygienic environment. Assist in food preparation and maintain cleanliness in food service areas. Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all items are properly cleaned and organized. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain efficient workflow and adhere to safety standards. Report any maintenance issues or supply shortages to management promptly.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a restaurant setting, demonstrating strong cleaning and maintenance skills. Familiarity with food handling and preparation practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, supporting kitchen staff as needed. Knowledge of banquet service and catering operations is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. Previous hotel or kitchen experience is advantageous.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
