Job Overview

We are seeking a professional mover to join our team, responsible for assisting clients with their relocation needs efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have experience in moving, driving vehicles such as box trucks, truck with trailer, and handling heavy lifting. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a smooth moving process from start to finish.

Responsibilities

Load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment safely using appropriate tools such as a hand truck (2 wheel dolly) a four wheel dolly, power tools and hand tools. Drive company vehicles along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Assist clients with packing, unpacking, and organizing belongings during moves. Ensure all items are secured properly during transit to prevent damage. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the moving vehicle and equipment. Communicate professionally with clients to provide excellent customer service throughout the moving process. Follow route schedules and deliver items promptly while maintaining safety standards. Check vehicles periodically for safety hazards and proper fluid levels. Keep company vehicles and storage clean at all times.

Skills

Proven experience in moving or warehouse operations is preferred but not required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving or courier experience is a plus. Experience with delivery driving, route driving, and load & unload procedures. Heavy lifting capability and physical stamina to handle large or bulky items safely. Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude. Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail.
