Overview

We are seeking a professional and dedicated Motor Coach Operator to provide safe, reliable, and courteous transportation services. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a solid understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols. This role offers the opportunity to operate various types of buses, including motor coaches, school buses, limousines, and shuttle vehicles, serving diverse passenger needs in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Safely operate motor coaches, school buses, limousines, and shuttle vehicles according to scheduled routes and passenger needs Ensure passenger safety by adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, luggage handling, and addressing inquiries professionally Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical soundness and compliance with safety standards Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption Communicate effectively with dispatchers and passengers using clear communication skills Assist with special transportation requests such as paratransit services or delivery runs when required Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; appropriate commercial driver's license (CDL) required Experience in bus driving, shuttle driving, limousine service, or delivery driving is highly desirable Mechanical knowledge related to bus maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus Prior experience with paratransit services or motor coach operations is advantageous Strong communication skills in English for effective interaction with passengers and team members Ability to handle various vehicle types including motor coaches, school buses, limousines, and shuttle vans Knowledge of safety procedures related to commercial driving and vehicle maintenance Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if required
