We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Professional Early Morning/Morning Barista to join our vibrant cafe team. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide friendly, attentive service to enhance customer satisfaction. Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy using POS systems. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including food handling and food safety practices. Assist in food preparation and food service tasks as needed, ensuring quality standards are met at all times. Manage time effectively during busy morning hours to ensure quick service without compromising quality. Follow food safety protocols, including proper food handling, sanitation procedures, and adherence to health regulations. Restock supplies, monitor inventory levels, and communicate needs to team members promptly. Support team members in creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews.

Skills

Proven experience as a barista or in the food industry with a focus on coffee service. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Strong time management skills to handle high-volume mornings smoothly. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate register balancing. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced cafe environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in serving or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential. Basic understanding of food preparation and food service operations.
