Licensed Professional Counselor or Therapist
Three years experience working in counseling profession
Knowledge of trauma informed care philosophy and principles
Knowledge of social, mental health, legal, judicial, and criminal justice services in the service area
Effective oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to work with diverse populations
Proficiency with computer, internet
Reliable transportation with valid driver's license

Ability to distinguish appropriate dress depending upon organizational activities
Provide an average of 32 hours per week of direct service: crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, and advocacy services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Accompany clients to court, as needed.
Document relevant information in client data system as stipulated by funding requirements.
Participate in direct service staff rotation in responding to emergency room calls for sexual and relationship violence.
Provide crisis intervention back-up and support to other direct services staff, as needed.
Prepare and submit documentation in a timely manner.
Maintain working knowledge of sexual assault and domestic violence laws, keeping resource files on legislative and public policy information.
Ensure consistent compliance with all laws, policies, procedures, and grants within program areas.
Twenty hours of training in related field annually.
Attend, as requested, state and regional meetings, trainings, and/or conferences on domestic violence and sexual assault.
Attend community meetings in the service area, as requested.
