Professional

Application Designer

to design, develop, install, test, and document complex applications software, including server, client, and web components. In this role, you will bridge the gap between application architects and development teams, ensuring that technical architecture solutions are scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with customer specifications. You will function as a domain expert, providing leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel to enhance overall product quality

What You Will Do

Design & Development:

Provide high-level design documents and translate them into component-level designs to accelerate the development of flexible, reusable components

Technical Liaison:

Act as the primary liaison between application architects and development teams to ensure seamless coordination during product implementation

Research & Evaluation:

Assist in technical research and evaluate tools and methodologies to ensure designs adhere to industry, client, and company standards

Documentation & Testing:

Develop comprehensive technical documentation and oversee test-plan development, integration, and deployment phases.

Collaboration:

Participate in joint applications development (JAD) sessions and project meetings to communicate design decisions across departmental personnel

Mentorship:

Provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced developers, ensuring all application designs meet strict specifications

What You Will Bring:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

Experience:

3+ years of experience in product design and support, with a strong background in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and various development methodologies.

Technical Mastery:

Proven experience with product systems design principles, appropriate programming languages, operating systems, hardware, and software

Process Knowledge:

Familiarity with company application development policies, procedures, and industry-standard coding documentation.
