Monday-Friday, typically 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (daytime hours, no nights or weekends).
Goal:
To help with production tasks, maintain quality, and support individuals with disabilities in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities...
Supervise Production Lines
You'll work on the production line supervising individuals with disabilities.
You may use pallet wrappers, heat tunnels, and a variety of other equipment/machinery.
Efficiency and accuracy are important to keep production on schedule.
Forklift Operation
You may need to learn or use a forklift to move materials around the facility.
Safety training will be provided if you don't have prior experience.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with other employees, including individuals with disabilities.
Maintain a respectful, positive attitude to create an inclusive environment.
Safety and Cleanliness
Follow all safety rules (e.g., wearing protective gear, proper machine handling).
Keep your work area clean to prevent accidents and maintain quality.
Transportation Duties
Drive company vans to transport individuals to and from work.
This requires a valid driver's license and passing a background check.
Quality Control
Inspect finished products for defects before they are shipped or packaged.
Attention to detail is critical here.
Supporting Individuals with Disabilities
Provide assistance with personal care (helping with restroom needs and feeding).
Prior experience is helpful but not required--training will be provided.
Preferred Skills
Forklift experience and box truck driving experience are a plus. If not experienced, we can provide training.
Comfort with working in a diverse environment.
