This role will be responsible in assisting the operations of a production line.

Job Location Plymouth, IN Knowledge/Skills/Abilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist the operator and assistant operator to ensure all quality checks are completed and production orders are produced according to specifications. \xe2\x80\xa2 Bag and place product in designated warehouse areas. \xe2\x80\xa2 Handle the cores and core shafts. \xe2\x80\xa2 Grind scrap material to be reused or disposed of.

• Responsible to maintain housekeeping in area of work. \xe2\x80\xa2 Will be moved to different production lines and areas as needed. Required Education, Experience and Qualifications \xe2\x80\xa2 A High School Diploma or GED \xe2\x80\xa2 Previous work experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Must have stable work history \xe2\x80\xa2 Must be safety conscious, able to understand and adhere to all Department and Plant rules, regulations, and notices. \xe2\x80\xa2 able to communicate effectively with all levels of management and production employees.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and document quality readings. \xe2\x80\xa2 Will be required to operate a forklift and other Powered Industrial Vehicles. Must be cost conscious at all times. \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to stand for long periods of time; up to 12 hours; stooping, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, climb ladders, and able to lift weights of 80 lbs.

Must be able to operate Powered Industrial Equipment such as forklifts and hand saw; must be able to move throughout the facility as needed; use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all required times and follow all safety rules; must be able to accurately read a tape measure; must be able to read, write and understand directions in English. \xe2\x80\xa2 Pregis values its people and is committed to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
