Perricone Farms is seeking a

Seasonal Production Technician 1

to support our Vero Beach facility during the upcoming production season. This hands-on role involves both

drumming/filling

and

fruit grading

responsibilities, helping ensure our premium juice products are processed, packed, and prepared to the highest standards.

Pay Rate

: Competitive hourly rate depending on the shift

Shift / Hours:

1st Shift; Monday - Friday @7:30am to 3:30pm, possible Saturday (If needed))

Seasonal

: November to January, with a possibility to come back in Summer

Job Duties:

As a

Seasonal Production Technician 1

, you will be responsible for and rotate through a range of job duties, including but not limited to the following primary tasks:Filling and emptying 55-gallon drums of juice or concentrate Grading and sorting citrus fruit based on quality standards Assembling, packing, and stacking boxes Labeling finished products Wrapping pallets with shrink wrap Setting up the production area with required materials Assisting with machine operation Performing general cleaning and sanitation Logging daily production activities Monitoring equipment to ensure safe operation Reporting any irregularities to the supervisor

Drug Free Workplace:

Notifies supervisor of unusual problems. Works in accordance with all company policies and procedures. Follows health and safety guidelines. Maintain and keep work area according to cGMP.

Food Safety Requirements/Responsibilities:

Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations. Conduct all verification activities to assure finished product comply with food safety and quality specifications. Participates in the yearly review of the food safety system. Assist in the maintenance of Food Safety and Quality system. Responsible for Non-GMO SGS Supply Chain Standards. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Comfortable working in a manufacturing/production environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional Saturdays

Organizational Relationships:

Position reports to Shift Manager High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish helpful.
