Position Overview




We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and team-driven Team Lead to support daily production operations on 2nd shift. This role plays a key part in training employees, maintaining equipment efficiency, ensuring paperwork accuracy, and helping create a clean, safe, and organized work environment. What You'll Do


#

Training & Development




Train new employees on equipment, processes, products, and safety procedures.



Ensure employees are fully signed off and understand their job duties.

Production Leadership




Support operators and maintenance with troubleshooting issues.



Monitor equipment rates and correct low-rate issues.



Submit detailed maintenance work orders, including steps already taken.



Assist on the floor and operate equipment when needed, especially when short-staffed.

Paperwork & Quality




Review all shift paperwork for accuracy and completeness.



Verify pack-out weights, labels, lot numbers, and staged materials.



Ensure materials are properly labeled, organized, and stored.

Safety & Cleanliness




Enforce all safety requirements (PPE, respirators/shaving policy, fall protection, confined space, etc.).



Maintain a clean, organized work environment--"clean as you go."



Stay at end of shift if needed to bring the department back to standard.



Keep tools/equipment clean and ensure forklifts are signed off at the start of each shift.

Team Support & Communication




Know and communicate production rates when asked.



Follow up on equipment issues until fully resolved.



Provide support to team members and help maintain smooth shift operations.

What You'll Bring




2+ years of forklift experience preferred



Strong leadership and communication skills



Solid understanding of production equipment and processes



Basic computer skills for record keeping and system interaction



Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities



Strong attention to detail and safety-driven work habits



High school diploma or equivalent



Valid driver's license and reliable transportation



Must be clean-shaven daily for required respirator use
