We are looking for a Production Supervisor to guide our production team in a high-speed manufacturing setting. In this role, you will champion a safety-conscious environment, promote continuous improvement, and lead with a servant leadership approach to cultivate a motivated team. Your leadership will be crucial in achieving operational excellence and fostering a positive work environment.


Responsibilities

Champion a culture of safety by ensuring adherence to safety regulations and promoting proactive hazard identification. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and eliminate waste, leveraging lean manufacturing principles. Develop team member skills through effective training programs, ensuring proficiency in safety, quality, and equipment operation. Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Collaborate with technical staff to ensure seamless support for production activities and resolve technical challenges. Establish and monitor annual goals and objectives to drive the achievement of key operating metrics. Work with union stewards to address contract and disciplinary matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies. Manage production schedules and ensure efficient day-to-day operations to meet production requirements.

Required Skills




Demonstrated ability to lead with a servant leadership mindset, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. Proven experience in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Preferred Skills




Previous manufacturing supervision experience. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations. Basic understanding of process control, production scheduling, Kaizen, Kanban, and Lean manufacturing principles. * Experience with employee relations and conflict resolution.
