Summary:
Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Production Supervisor for its Bowling Green South quarry in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for assisting in managing all safety, operational, financial, environmental and personnel duties for the plant in accordance with company programs, policies, and guidelines as well as government agencies.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for training and development of team, scheduling, performance management, and effective leadership of the hourly workforce
Successfully implement the Company's safety and environmental processes
Successfully lead and manage to established production, safety and environmental objectives and metrics
Be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
Be proficient with a computer and Microsoft Office programs and other similar programs
Strong mechanical background
Other duties as assigned.

This position will supervise hourly direct reports.
Work Environment
This job operates frequently in a maintenance and operations environment in a surface quarry. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a computer, phone, and copier.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position and will require 40+ hours per week.
Required Education and Experience
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
4+ years' experience in aggregate operations
Minimum 1-year supervisory experience in a mining environment
Valid US drivers license
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Skill Trade Certification(s) are a plus
Bilingual a plus
Knowledge of MSHA regulations
