PRODUCTION SPECIALIST - SECOND SHIFT

:

The Production Specialist plays a critical role in FireSprint's production and finishing processes, ensuring high-quality printed materials are created and delivered to clients on time. This position spans responsibilities across printing, finishing, and shipping operations, requiring attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to meeting client specifications. Reporting to the shift Production Manager, the Production Specialist supports FireSprint's mission to provide exceptional products while maintaining operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform all production tasks as outlined on job tickets, including printing, cutting, laminating, and quality checks. Conduct routine cleaning, replenishment of consumables, and basic maintenance of equipment. Package finished products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client instructions. Communicate effectively with team members to address challenges and ensure smooth workflow. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Perform quality control checks to identify and resolve defects before products are shipped.

Requirements:

Ability to learn and understand large-format flatbed and roll printers, laminators, and cutting machines. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Must be able to lift and/or move large sheets, rolls and boxes up to 50 pounds regularly. Specific vision abilities, including close vision and accurate color recognition.
