Base Pay: $15.75

Shift hours: Varies from 6:00am \xe2\x80\x93 6:00pm

Position Function :

The production associate is responsible for performing a variety of production focused tasks on a rotated basis to support the daily production goals of the Ready to Eat (RTE) Department.

Essential Duties, Functions, & Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Process product using tools and equipment provided

\xc2\xb7 Follows all work safety policies and guidelines

\xc2\xb7 Observes equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and/or safety issues/concerns

\xc2\xb7 Adheres to all USDA and GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) product standards and guidelines

\xc2\xb7 Maintains a clean and organized work area

\xc2\xb7 Will be required to rotate to various functions within the processing department

\xc2\xb7 Performs other duties as assigned

\xc2\xb7 Accountable to maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other Characteristics:

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work in a fast paced environment

\xc2\xb7 Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions

\xc2\xb7 Ability to meet production line speed

Physical Requirements :

\xc2\xb7 Standing 8 \xe2\x80\x93 10 hours per day,

\xc2\xb7 Lift up-to 50 lbs.

\xc2\xb7 Possible bending, stooping, twisting, and squatting.

\xc2\xb7 Repetitive hand intensive task, tight gripping, grasping, pinching, and pulling required

Working Conditions:

\xc2\xb7 Work in damp and cold environment.

\xc2\xb7 Work with loud and noisy machinery.

\xc2\xb7 Work with or around chemicals/fumes

Minimum Qualifications

\xc2\xb7 No minimum education requirement

\xc2\xb7 No previous work experience required

\xc2\xb7 Must be at least eighteen (18) years old

\xc2\xb7 Must be eligible to work legally in the United States
