Position Summary
The Glazing Line Operator is responsible for operating glazing lines in accordance with established procedures to ensure consistent product quality and production efficiency. This role includes controlling glaze materials, performing sample tests, inspecting product appearance, and making necessary adjustments to equipment. Operators must maintain a clean and safe work environment, communicate effectively with supervisors, and follow all safety protocols.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate glazing lines according to established procedures and production schedules.
Control glaze and related materials to meet standards for density, viscosity, and appearance.
Perform sample testing using standard operating procedures.
Visually inspect products and compare them to reference samples; resolve discrepancies.
Operate forklift as needed to support production activities.
Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently met.
Modify glazing line settings to correct production or quality issues.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Alert supervisor to any issues affecting production or quality.
Record production and quality control data as required.
Comply with OSHA and company safety regulations.
Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices.
Perform all other duties as assigned to support production efficiency, quality, and safety.
Qualifications
1+ years of manufacturing experience desired.
Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
Ability to monitor and operate automated machinery and production equipment

Work Environment
The Glazing Line Operator works in a manufacturing plant environment with moderate to loud noise levels and exposure to dust and elevated temperatures. The area may contain moving machinery and uneven surfaces. Operators must wear appropriate PPE including safety shoes, gloves, and eye protection. The role requires constant attention to safety, cleanliness, and coordination with team members to ensure efficient operations.
