Brand My Bags has openings to join our Production team on multiple shifts. As an essential team member, you'll read instructions, set up machines, perform quality checks, manage changeovers, problem-solve, and maintain a safe, dynamic production environment.

Description:

Brand My Bags is a custom brand packaging company servicing the cannabis industry. We strive to help our partners stand out from the crowd with eye-catching, full-color print designs on quality, compliant marijuana packaging.

We specialize in Mylar bag packaging, fully printed stand-up pouches, and lay-flat pouches. We can also custom-brand a variety of different containers used by the industry, including pop-top vials and glass jars, by printing roll stock labels that are transferred onto the containers. We use state-of-the-art printing technology to create whatever our customers have in mind.

Production Operator

to join the team on multiple shifts. As an essential team member, you'll read instructions, set up machines, perform quality checks, manage changeovers, problem-solve, and maintain a safe, dynamic production environment.

Schedules:

1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Monday - Friday)

2nd/3rd: 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Monday - Thursday) 4-tens

Primary Responsibilities:

Reads job specifications and previous run data (if available) to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Ensures job is in order prior to machine set-up. Performs set-ups and changeovers, per specifications Complete machine /line clearance at the end of each production run. Repackage unused bulk stock to ensure proper storage and maintain cleanliness Read and interpret machine and safety instructions Ensure that all quality standards are met, tests performed, and data collection/documentation completed as required. Report discrepancies to lead/supervisor. Back up in other areas of the print department with the shared goal to meet all printing deadlines. Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Attention to detail and able to collect and report variable data during production operation. Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills. Applicable machine operating and computer skills. Strong work ethic, dependable job performance, and reliable attendance. Must be flexible with hours during peak season and hot jobs.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift 50lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, for up to 2 hours continuously. Extend and reach with hands and arms and use hands and fingers. Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Extensive sitting and computer use.
Possess skills to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
