We are seeking reliable and hardworking Production Operators to join our manufacturing team. The Production Operator will be responsible for performing various tasks in the manufacturing process including firing and inspecting product. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform assembly and manufacturing tasks according to production specifications and quality standards.
Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and guidelines (ovens, part cleaning equipment, scales, various shop tools)
Inspect products for defects or irregularities and report any issues to supervisors.
Package finished products for shipment according to customer requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including disposing of waste and recycling materials properly.
Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistent quality and efficiency in production.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Participate in training and development activities to enhance job skills.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in manufacturing or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required.
Understand use of metrology equipment.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.
Willingness to learn new tasks and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Basic math skills with the ability to read and understand production documents.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, following all safety procedures.
