Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager to oversee daily operations within our lawn and landscape company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating production activities, ensuring safety standards, and maintaining efficient workflow. This role requires strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with grounds maintenance processes to optimize productivity and quality across the landscaping environments.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate assigned aspects of production operations within the company . Oversee production activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Manage inventory levels, materials handling, and facility organization. Operate and oversee the use of small construction equipment, power tools, hand tools, and other mechanical equipment. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime. Train and mentor team members on machinery operation, safety procedures, and best practices. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with Fleet manager to schedule repairs and preventive maintenance for machinery/equipment. Maintain accurate production records and report on key performance indicators. Coordinate with other departments to meet production goals.

Experience

Proven landscape/ grounds maintenance experience perferred Prior management experience is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge related to lawn and landscape equipment, hand tools, power tools, and skid steers is essential. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively. Familiarity with safety standards, and inventory management systems. Experience operating or overseeing the use of lawn and landscape machinery is preferred. Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
