Job Description

The Production Manager will oversee all daily production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety across the kitchen and bakery operations. This role is responsible for staff scheduling, meeting production targets, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with company policies and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities



Supervise and lead all kitchen and production staff. Plan, organize, and manage daily production schedules to meet business demands. Ensure all products meet company quality standards and food safety guidelines. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients, supplies, and packaging materials. Coordinate with warehouse, drivers, and management to ensure smooth operations. Train and evaluate employees; provide coaching and corrective actions as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies. Prepare daily and weekly production reports for management review. Ensure equipment is maintained and report any issues to maintenance promptly.

Qualifications



2+ years of experience in production management, kitchen management, or food manufacturing (preferred). Strong leadership and team-management skills. Knowledge of food safety standards (ServSafe is a plus). Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Comfortable using basic computer systems for scheduling and reporting.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
