Currently, Aurora is seeking to hire full-time

Production

Machine Operators for our 4-day Monday - Thursday 10-hour shift. We're hiring for both 1st shift (5:30 am - 3:30 pm) and 2nd shift (2:00 pm - Midnight).



Position Summary

: The Production Operator will have on-the-job training to learn to follow the process paperwork, line-up material, and complete set-up needs. They will use a forklift, pallet jack and crane system for moving and unloading goods. They will perform a-frame set up and changes. They operate in a production setting communicating with all teammates for efficient production and completion of all daily production paperwork and labeling of finished products. The operator will run equipment and learn how to trouble shoot production and quality issues. They may complete process paperwork and production sheets along with other duties assigned by Lead or Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

:

Stages all rolls for line up and set up Receives in material scanning labels with scanner Records run-time and stop time during work orders Uses saw to cut cores Cleans rollers and other equipment as needed Flags defects and inspects material while running Take on-line quality samples Use industrial sewing machine to sew seams Labels all finished product Use of tape measure, hand tools, band saw, and Pallet Jack Participate in lean manufacturing projects Has solid work ethic and attendance Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:



High school diploma or GED Manufacturing experience highly desired Ability to read process paperwork, Ability to read and use a tape measure, Ability to understand English, written and spoken. A combination of education and experience may meet the above requirements. This position is not eligible for employment sponsorship either now or in the future.

Physical Requirements and Equipment Operated



Prolonged standing/walking throughout full 10-hour shift Ability to bend, squat, stoop, kneel, push and pull. Ability to wear all required safety equipment. Vision: Ability to see up close, at a distance, and in low-light conditions. Hearing: Ability to communicate effectively or monitor machines and equipment through sound. Environmental Conditions: Working within manufacturing environment Lifting and Carrying: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Operate forklift, pallet jack, small tug lift truck, hand tools and band saw
