Summary

We are currently seeking a Wrapper Operator to join our team at Cardinal Tissue LLC. This role is essential in supporting our manufacturing operations and ensuring the smooth production of tissue products. You will play a vital part in our mission to provide top-quality products to our customers.

Hours per week:

36 - 48+ hours a week depending on shift.

Open Shifts:

1st Shift: Monday - Thursday 7am to 7pm 3rd Shift: Friday - Sunday 7am - 7pm ($1/hr Shift Differential)

Duties and Responsibilities

Identify all parts of machine Start and stop machine Perform setup and changeover on designated machine independently in the time allotted Assist with maintenance on designated machine/perform preventative maintenance on designated machine Work with maintenance personnel and shift supervisor on breakdowns Load new poly wrap Align new poly wrap Use the correct number of infeed bars Use correct number of fingers in the proper positions Use correct plates Check and change packaging date Check package seal Change overhead bar height Load new recipe Ability to "Home" machine Find and clean all sensors Identify burn point Identify center of wraps Clear paper jam Identify correct package orientation Troubleshoot problems with the designated machine Perform quality checks regularly and identify quality imperfections in finished products and Identify quality imperfections in raw materials Practice good housekeeping/keep work area clean and organized.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic mechanical skills are a plus but not required. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Shifts are 12 hours long Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds Ability to bend, twist, squat, kneel, reach, push, and pull repetitively
