Job Description

The Production Lead oversees daily media production operations to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency goals are consistently met. This role supports management by coordinating team activities, troubleshooting issues, maintaining equipment readiness, and driving continuous improvement across the P29 media production process.

Experience/Education:



2-4 years of experience in manufacturing or production. Strong understanding of production workflows, equipment, and quality standards. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead and motivate teams in fast-paced environments. Basic computer skills (production software, spreadsheets, email). Ability to stand, lift, and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities/Skills:



Daily Operations



Oversee media foam production activities, including batching, coating, cutting, and inventory management. Assign tasks, coordinate schedules, and monitor team performance throughout each shift. Ensure the media production space is organized, clean, and compliant with company standards.

Team Leadership & Training



Provide hands-on guidance, coaching, and mentorship to production team members on entire P29 media production process. Train new employees on processes, equipment, safety protocols, and quality expectations. Support a positive, productive, and safety-focused team culture.

Quality & Safety



Monitor staff production processes for adherence to quality standards and specifications. Conduct safety checks and enforce compliance with OSHA and CiDRA safety guidelines. Report and assist in investigating any accidents, quality defects, or process deviations.

Process & Equipment Support



Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with mechanical engineering team when needed for mechanical repairs. Perform basic equipment adjustments and ensure proper setup for each run. Recommend improvements to enhance workflow, reduce downtime, and optimize efficiency.

Documentation & Reporting



Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and team activity/productivity. Manage inventory control checks and material availability monitoring, as well as communicating with management on material shortages and ordering needs
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
