What to expect:
Martin Marietta is seeking a Foreman to join our team. This individual will be responsible for safely and efficiently supervising onsite operational activities, which may include pit and/or plant production, plant maintenance, and mobile equipment operations. Additionally, the foreman is responsible for providing leadership to the hourly workforce to ensure safe and efficient production, maintenance, and customer service.

A typical day for a(n) Foreman may include:

• Training and development of team, scheduling, performance management, and effective leadership of hourly workforce
• Successfully leading the Company's safety initiatives
• Practical application of working knowledge and understanding of MSHA regulations and possessing a strong personal commitment to safety
• Implementing environmental processes and regulations
• Successfully leading and managing established production, safety, and environmental objectives and metrics
• Participating in yearly planning of quarry production, maintenance and salary costs to meet budget goals
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor

You may be a good fit if you:

• Possess a bachelor's degree in engineering (Mining, Civil), Business, or equivalent experience
• Have 2+ years' experience in aggregate operations with understanding of mineral processing equipment such as crushers, screens, conveyors, and associated mobile equipment
• Have a minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in a mining environment
• Possess excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; strong planning skills
• Are Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Have experience with pit design/exploration, drilling, blasting, inventory control, inventory measures and customer service preferred
• Have the ability to work flexible schedule as required; including nights and weekends
