Position Summary



The Production Control/Data Entry Clerk is responsible for offering clerical support to the department in performing the procurement function.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Assists with entering job data from Advance Bills and drawings into computer. Responsible for checking work for accuracy. Creates Kettle tags for all material in the shop for shipping. Enters receivers or bill of ladings into the Fabtrol system. Receives drawings from Document Control. Responsible for filing the drawings and ensure they are in the proper order. Scans all Production Control paperwork to the network, such as material test reports, receivers and job packets. The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.

Qualifications



High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum one year's experience in an engineering or purchasing department. Knowledge and understanding of blueprints and drawings is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Access. Excellent organizational skills required.



Physical Demands



Must be able to sit and work directly on a computer for extended periods of time. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Some overtime and weekend work required. All of the physical demands listed are essential functions.
