Job descriptions:
SDAC is seeking a Production Control Clerk to provide administrative support for Operations/Maintenance services at a large government building. Duties will include dispatching service calls to technicians, filing appropriate reports to the home office, communicating with client and home office, and other general office and administrative tasks as required. The PCC offers attractive pay and union benefits.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating and managing maintenance work orders.
Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Creating work orders in Maximo and assigning them to the appropriate maintenance personnel.
Tracking the status of work orders and ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
Communicating updates on work orders to maintenance staff and other stakeholders.
Maintaining accurate inventory levels in Maximo.
Reordering parts and supplies as needed.
Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and supplies.
Identifying areas where maintenance procedures and policies can be improved.
Developing and documenting new or revised maintenance procedures and policies.
Providing training on new or revised maintenance procedures and policies to maintenance staff.
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Strong written and oral communications skills
Expertise with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System - Maximo (required)
3+ years experience with Facilities Management and or Service Dispatching
Experience successfully working directly with and supporting client needs
Ability to confidently answers common questions and/or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisor
Ability to effectively communicate to an internal team and to clients
U.S. Citizen or approved registered alien
Ability to pass Federal Government security clearance requirements
