Job Description
Immediate openings for Production Associates / General Machine Operator Trainee to work seasonal in a growing manufacturing company located in North Las Vegas. This Production Associate offers the potential to move into a direct employment role based on the evaluation of attendance, performance, and overall attitude. This potential work-to-hire opportunity will be based on direct business needs.
Shift & Salary:
- BOTH shifts may have to work weekends as needed, must be flexible for overtime during the week, and on your first day you will need to arrive 15 minutes early!*
2nd Shift: 2:20PM - 10:50PM / $16.17/hr
The primary responsibilities of the General Machine Operator Trainee are to work along GMO 1, 2, 3 and learn equipment operation within 90 days. This position will clean and prepare work area and machine for next workday or shift at the end of shift.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside GMO+ with the ability to learn key equipment operation within 90 days.
- Once trained, able to, safely and with high quality, operate 1 key work cell/machine within area
- Audit work instruction is being followed
- Perform these and other duties as signed by supervisor or other appropriate management personnel
- Stacking the product, packaging, labeling, dusting product, shrink wrapping, palletizing, running machines (depending on the area they put you in) and anything else needed.
- This is a non-smoking facility.
- This facility is NOT climate controlled.
- This is a VERY LARGE facility - LOTS of walking!
- Temperature checks will be completed before entering the facility.
