Production Associate, responsible for safely performing essential duties associated with the job while maintaining a high-level quality and efficiency.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintains a high level of professionalism Responsible for retrieving, inspecting, and packaging product Monitors quality of product per quality standards Responsible for maintaining established productivity levels Responsible for communicating issues regarding quality, scrap rate, safety, or any other concerns to supervisor or manager Participates actively in continuous improvement Responsible for communicating to operators at shift change regarding the operation, quality, and job status Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area Performs other tasks as directed by lead or supervisor
Qualifications:
Ability to pass a screening test for near vision, color vision, and depth perception (with or without corrected vision) Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and quality plans Manual dexterity and coordination
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide Ability to perform basic applications of percentages and averages
Reasoning Ability
Ability to recognize non-compliance to work standards and contact appropriate supervision or management staff
Physical Demands:
Extended hours standing and repetitive tasks Standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, and regularly lifting to 35 pounds.
Work Environment:
* Manufacturing environment with associated noises, smells, and temperatures.
