Stacker

SHIFT:

2nd Shift/B Crew Monday through Thursday 3:30pm-2am- Guaranteed and adding Friday's, Saturdays and Sunday's as needed

What will you be doing as a stacker?

Stack material neat and straight as it comes off the press. Pull and cut cardboard, paper and banding material. Locate small defects on the surface of material. Review the Production order and Production schedule at beginning of shift. General housekeeping in work area. Alert Supervisor of employee issues or concerns. Perform all other duties as assigned. Comply with all Aluminum Blanking Employee Conduct and Work Rules; comply with all policies contained in the Employee Handbook, specifically pertaining to safety.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Able to work in a safe and orderly manner, following written job instructions. Keep good attendance - within the guidelines of the company policies for absences and tardy/leave early. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Ability to read limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers. Ability to function in a team-based environment. Must be able to read and write English language and use good verbal communication skills. Self motivated and able to work under minimal supervision.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands to handle or feel. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands, arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to heat and cold and/or humid conditions, reflective of the weather outdoors. All jobs are performed indoors. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. The noise level is usually loud.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
