Position Overview:

The Shipping Associate reports to the Shipping Team Leader and is responsible for the efficient and accurate delivery, receipt, and movement of goods. This role is essential to maintaining production flow and ensuring customer satisfaction through safe and timely operations.

Responsibilities:

Operate powered industrial trucks (forklift, reach truck, tug, and order picker). Receive materials, confirm receipts, and prepare discrepancy reports as needed. Load trucks, prepare shippers, and scan shipments to send ASNs. Enter receivers into the computer system and print shipping labels. Convey materials to storage racks and pick orders for tug operator. Deliver supplied parts to production lines and move finished parts to staging areas. Maintain production and shipping reporting requirements. Follow Standard Operating Procedures and company quality standards (IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO14001). Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (5S). Handle adverse situations professionally and work effectively without constant supervision. Perform all other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills:

High School Diploma or GED. 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with good attendance. Must be open to a flexible work schedule, including weekend support. Ability to pass all Powered Industrial Truck testing.
Physical Requirements:

Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, twist, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach. Ability to lift and/or move parts up to 40 pounds. Must be able to wear a safety harness and work at heights up to 20 feet. Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, extreme heat, or humid conditions. Noise level is generally moderate.
Pay & Benefits:
