THIS JOB IS FOR OUR GREENSBORO LOCATION.

Position Summary

The Production Associate is responsible for preparing parts for the paint coating process by correctly selecting and hanging them on an overhead conveyorized line. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Remove parts from pallets or boxes and select the correct hanger for each part. Properly hang parts on the overhead conveyorized line for the paint coating process. Ensure all parts are masked correctly as needed before coating. Perform quality checks to ensure parts are properly prepared for processing. Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area. Assist with other production tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, written instructions, and operational guidelines. Proficiency in basic math skills. Ability to read, write, and understand English. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to learn and apply training provided by Matlab, Inc.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Physical ability to lift 50 pounds frequently. Capability to perform overhead work, bending, stooping, and using both arms and legs for 6-8 hours per day. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Basic hearing and good vision required for safety.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Standing and walking for 8-10 hours per day. Exposure to temperature variations ranging from 40F - 110F. Working on a concrete floor in a dusty environment. Potential exposure to chemical fumes and noise. Requires hearing and good vision for safety and efficiency.

Education:

+ High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
