We are looking for a production assistant to help with mashing, distilling, and cleaning. This individual will be expected to perform all duties associated with distillery production. Brewing or distilling experience is preferred but not required.
What this position lacks in initial compensation it will make up for in experience. I am willing to teach this assistant everything I know about spirits and their production. You will get to run stills, learn sensory analysis, test and sample whiskeys, and everything else to do with running a distillery.
We are looking to grow our company, and the right person will have the opportunity to grow in this role to full-time and make a career of it if they choose. Applicants must be trustworthy, attentive, and have an innate attention to detail. Making whiskey is not for everyone, but for the right people it is heck of a way to spend a day.
MUST be able to work hard and get things done when unsupervised. We work hard and have fun making our products. Come visit the distillery and talk if you are interested.
