HIGHLY is seeking a

Production Assistant

to support day-today operations at our Boothbay Cultivation and Production facility. This is a key role in preparing all forms of cannabis for sale by weighing, packaging and labeling products in accordance with Maine Office of Cannabis Policy (OCP) regulations.

This position ensures all products meet company quality standards, regulatory compliance, and customer expectations. From post-harvest through final packaging, Production Assistants are responsible for maintaining consistency, accuracy, and accountability throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

Process and package finished cannabis product Apply compliance packaging labels accurately and with care Perform meticulous manicuring and trimming of cannabis flower to company standards Record data and information to be entered into the seed to sale program Clean and sanitize all post-production tools and equipment to company standards Self-regulate work pace for balance of quality and high-performance efficiency Work collaboratively with fellow crew members under direction of the Production Manager Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality, as scheduled
Production staff typically work a Monday through Friday schedule with occasional weekend shifts as business demands. We are rapidly growing and looking for reliable, talented, high integrity individuals to join our exceptional team!

Qualifications:

Familiarity with weights and measurements Ability to operate and accurately read a scale Reliable Transportation Maintain a positive attitude, stay motivated and on task Ability to perform a job which requires repetitive tasks and motions Able to remain seated or standing, as needed, during an 8-10 hour work shift Strong work ethic and attention to detail Friendly and Personable Ability to lift up to 50lbs Passion for the plant and a commitment to high quality Age 21 or older (per state regulations) Must be reliable and committed to working scheduled shifts; including

weekend, evening, holiday shifts and inclement weather

Established in Boothbay in 2017, HIGHLY now has 6 adult use stores in Boothbay, Auburn, South Portland, Brunswick, Woolwich, and Lewiston. We are excited to be opening 2 NEW stores in Eliot and Portland later this year. Our cultivation facility in Boothbay has been operational since our beginning.

To work with us at HIGHLY or any other recreational cannabis company in Maine, you need an Individual Identification Card from the Maine Office of Cannabis Policy. Obtaining an IIC requires completing an application and paying a fee. HIGHLY reimburses successful candidates for their IIC fee after 60 days of employment.
