Medical Device Production Assistants

Job Summary

Use your manual dexterity and attention to detail to assist production technicians in surgical guide fabrication. Entry level position, training provided, suitable for workers transitioning from hospitality or other industries. This a great opportunity to learn about 3D digital technology including 3D scanning and 3D printing. Suitable for dental assistants who would like to move away from clinical work to lab work.

Responsibilities and Duties

Receiving packages and work orders. Help set up production trays and organize small parts. Keep accurate records. Assist production technicians where needed.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required. Manual dexterity and attention to detail. Good computer skills, especially experience with Google Docs & Google Sheets are helpful Maintain only the highest degree of professionalism. Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Experience with dental terminology or fabrication of retainers is particularly helpful.

Hours

Full time, 35-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, two positions: one focusing on dental surgical guides 10 am to 6:30 pm and one on orthodontic aligners 11 am to 7:30 pm (both with 30 minute lunch break).

Compensation

$20 per hour. Participation in 50% subsidized company health and dental insurance plans, subway pass program, and paid time off days after three months.
